The fourth season of "Revenge" is almost coming to a close, but the psychological thriller continues to bring exciting episodes until the very end.

In the recently concluded episode titled "Burn," Victoria Greyson (Madeleine Stowe) set her own house on fire, with her in it. Apparently, the Greyson matriarch wants to frame Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp), who is actually the real Amanda Clarke, for her violent death. In episode 21 titled "Aftermath," the endless feud between Emily and Victoria Greyson will reach another level.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads: "Victoria's drastic choice has permanent consequences for Emily ... As Emily sifts through the wreckage of her life, even her closest friends worry she has finally gone too far."

TV Line offered a little spoiler for the upcoming episode, which says Emily and David would search through the burnt house for answers but will "both be turned away by the authorities." But if Victoria is really dead, does this mean that the series will end after this season?

Most of the show's main antagonists are gone, which could strengthen the speculations that the series will not return for a fifth season. Of course, a new resident baddie might emerge in the Hamptons. This is possible, especially since Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) is set to return in the coming episodes.

But aside from the aftermath of the Greyson household fire, Emily will reportedly face the return of Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler) as well. The story behind Jack's return in the series is still undisclosed, but it's almost cerrtain that he'd be shocked learning about the big Hampton fire.

At this point, there is no news yet from ABC regarding the return of "Revenge" for a fifth season. But speculations claim that the series will be coming to a close since it has failed to reach its target ratings in the last couple of seasons.

"Revenge" Season 4 episode 21 airs April 26.
