MacBook Pro 2016 rumors: New laptop could make its debut in the first half of 2016

The first half of the year could feature at least one new Apple laptop being launched, and it could very well be the MacBook Pro 2016.

According to KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo and as reported on by Apple Insider, 2016 could be a big year for Apple's line of laptops. Kuo even indicated that the company's line of laptops may even become the driving force behind Apple's growth in 2016.

The analyst hinted at the possibility that Apple's new line of upgraded laptops could arrive within the first half of 2016. Unfortunately, he did not name any particular laptop, meaning he could very well have been referring to the MacBook Pro or perhaps even the MacBook Air.

Still, with such a well-connected analyst suggesting that new Apple laptops could be released sometime within the next few months, people are now trying to figure out when the launch might take place and what the product will be.

One possibility, according to Gotta Be Mobile, is that Apple may decide to launch the MacBook Pro 2016 during a rumored March event.

Not much is currently known about Apple's upcoming March event, although some rumors have suggested that multiple products may be unveiled during the proceedings.

If the company decides to hold off on launching the MacBook Pro 2016 this March, then another possibility could be June. More specifically, Apple may decide to unveil the MacBook Pro 2016 during the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) that will be taking place this June.

This year's version of the MacBook Pro will likely be released with upgraded features.

Rumors have suggested that the new laptop could be equipped with Intel's line of Skylake processors, although this particular feature has not been confirmed. The MacBook Pro 2016 may even feature its own USB-C port when it makes its debut.

More news about the MacBook Pro 2016 should be made available soon.
