Lana and Rusev WWE split rumors: Vince McMahon wants a real breakup?

Everyone knows by now that the storyline involving Lana and Rusev calls for the two to part ways in the WWE scene. Apparently many know this by now considering Lana is behind Dolphy Ziggler while Rusev is all by himself.

But now wild unconfirmed rumors are circulating claiming that Vince McMahon may want something more than that - the couple to break up for real, according to a report in Inquisitr.

Lana is being groomed to be a face wrestler and could one day be leading the pack of Divas. But for that to happen, Lana has to be seen in the ring and wrestle for real. That hasn't happened yet and Lana continues to play manager or handler.

A curious report from the Wrestling Observer outrageously claims that McMahon is trying to break up the two for real. It goes on by saying that McMahon believes that Rusev doesn't deserve to have someone like Lana.

Is McMahon overstepping his boundaries or is this - as some believe - just more hype for the WWE stage?

Even though, leaning on a storyline at the expense of true-life relationships seems to be a bit extreme though McMahon has been known to think of the wildest scenarios that could benefit the WWE.
