Newlyweds Jessa and Ben Seewald may not be adopting as quickly as they expected, according to a recent post on the Duggar family blog. 

The couple announced their desire to add to their family aside from biological children, but that possibility is further off than they thought. 

"The Seewalds researched adoption but discovered that most agencies require a couple to be married for two years before adopting," the blog read. "Still, they hope to adopt 'a lot of kids,' as Jessa puts it."

Jessa, 22, and Ben, 19, discussed their desire to adopt in the most recent issue of PEOPLE Magazine.

"Kids are so important," Ben explained. "We hope to adopt a lot of kids. If God blesses us with biological children of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt."

"Even before we married, we wanted to adopt," Jessa added.

The Seewalds are also planning for their future by preparing their home and future careers. 

They moved into the home owned by Grandma Mary Duggar, and are paying a small rent while they save for their next home. Jessa's brother Josh and his wife, Anna, also lived in the home before moving to Washington D.C.

Ben completed his associates degree, and may go to seminary to achieve his goal of becoming a pastor. On his Facebook page, he wrote that he wishes to either enter the ministry or become a missionary. Currently, he works for Jessa's father.

The young couple admitted that although they sometimes disagree, it doesn't last for long.

"We try to bring it up and say, 'Hey we need to talk about this,'" Ben shared. "We can't let it define our relationship."

"If we have a hard time and we talk about it, you just love each other so much more afterwards," Jessa confirmed.

"After a disagreement, I often feel, 'I have never loved you more than I love you now.'"
