It is reasonably certain that Apple's new iPhone device will be unveiled on September 10, 2013, with the smartphone set to be called the iPhone 6, 5S or 5C. However, it is unclear whether just a single new smartphone will be released on that date or whether two mobiles will be unleashed.

Even though Apple, as usual, has tried to keep all details of what they are planning under wraps, it seems almost certain in many analyst's minds that the devices coming out in September will be the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C.

If two devices are released it will mark a significant shift in strategy for the California-based tech giant. Apple has in the past only ever launched one new iPhone at a time, but they now appear to be preparing dual lines of their landmark product – a high end iPhone 5S, and a more budget, plastic, brightly colored iPhone 5C.

The Design of the new iPhone 5S will likely be the same outwardly as the iPhone 5. With the iPhone 5 last year, Apple already revamped the style and shape of the iPhone, and it is likely they will maintain their current size and look for one more generation at least.

Although that may not be the most exciting of iPhone releases it does move in line with what the company has done in the past when it released the iPhone 3GS, and the iPhone 4S.

So anyone hoping for a larger screen on the new iPhone is likely to be left disappointed. Most analysts have said they are expecting the same 4-inch screen, as well as a similar Retina resolution display.

Camera-wise, reports claim that a new LED flash will be included in the new iPhone, and an upgraded camera.

The phone will come with Apple's new A7 processor that should be a dual-core processor and should provide more speed and smoother function.

In addition, Apple's new iOS 7 will almost certainly come with the new iPhone.

There have been many rumors about a new fingerprint sensor being included in the new iPhone, however, it is difficult to really understand why Apple would include this feature with the new smartphone. Not many everyday users need a fingerprint sensor, so its addition would seem more like a gimmick if included.

The iPhone release date should be announced on Sept. 10, which means if things continue as Apple has previously conducted releases, then the iPhone should be available from Friday Sept. 20. T-mobile has reportedly blacked out vacation dates starting Sept. 20, meaning that the staff are expected to be very busy on the first day of its Apple iPhones sales. Expect prices to remain the same as usual for the three memory versions - $199, $299, $399.
