While "Grey's Anatomy" fans are still nursing their broken hearts after Dr. Derek Shepherd's (Patrick Dempsey) death in season 11, no one could be more hurting than his wife Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). Will she be able to get through the pain when the long-running medical drama series returns for season 12?

Earlier spoilers claim that Meredith could be battling Alzheimer's symptoms. Will this help her get over the death of her husband?

Meanwhile, things are also looking gloomy between Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew). Their first-born child died just hours after being delivered in season 11 due to a severe congenital condition and, according to Drew, the marriage may be on the rocks, but they will not decide on it until the series returns for season 12.

"We haven't actually broken up," the actress told The Entertainment Weekly. "We're left on the precipice. He's given me an ultimatum that gives us room to figure out what's going to happen next season. I think this is the first of many conversations. I don't see it as a total breakup, I see it as they're definitely in a really, really rough situation. I don't think that it's the nail on the coffin for them. He says if you go, we're done, but April still has to make a choice, so that's where, I guess, we'll pick up next season, but [Shonda Rhimes] could make a different choice."

Meanwhile, actress Jerrika Hinton shared some tidbits about where her character Stephanie stands in the 12th season of "Grey's Anatomy. According to the actress, Stephanie will exercise authority as she deals with a new set of interns at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. She also mentioned that she would probably find love in one of the new doctors at the hospital.

More information about "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 is expected to be released by ABC in the coming days.

After the elections, what next for Britain?

If the two-party system is indeed dead, as both Zack Polanski and Nigel Farage claim, it’s because members of these two parties have failed, promoting ideologies that are alien to the British character, and serving their own interests, rather than those of the people.
