'Glee' season 6 spoilers: Rachel gets heartbroken, Sam still in love with Mercedes

Part One of "The Hurt Locker" aired last Friday and Sue was at it again — destroying New Directions. But when the last episode of "Glee" ended, Sue took her plan a notch higher by targeting Rachel. It was seen that Sue influenced Sam to kiss Rachel.

Ever since Finn was out of the show, Rachel remained loveless. In "The Hurt Locker: Part 1," Sam's kiss could've broken the loveless spell, at least that was what Rachel was thinking of. But in the end, her heart broke into a million pieces when she realized that Sam's kiss meant nothing.

According to CarterMatt, this week's episode shows the aftermath of that kiss. Rachel invites Sam for coffee, but he rejects her and confesses that he is still in love with Mercedes. Poor Rachel, Sue got the best of her and targeted her weakness. Hopefully, this won't stop Rachel in helping the new members of New Directions achieve their goal.

Over at Hollywood Hills, the official synopsis reads:

"Sue will be at it again, trying to mend relationships that she thinks need mending. Meanwhile, Kitty is going to help Rachel find the perfect set list to win the invitational and Sam will recruit football player Spencer to join the glee club."

Clearly, there is no mention of Rachel's broken heart or Sam and Mercedes reuniting. And it's really unsure whether Sue is really trying to "mend relationships" in this episode. Nonetheless, the snapshot that CarterMatt obtained for episode 6 "What the World Needs Now" shows Rachel crying while talking to Mercedes. Hence, Sue might not have fixed any real relationship at all. Just to add though, why does Mercedes look unsupportive in the photo?

To be certain of what's to come, Gleeks should tune in to "Glee" season 6 episode 5, which airs Jan. 30, 8 p.m. on FOX. Check out the episode's preview here.
