Bethesda Softworks, the game developing and publishing company responsible for releasing "The Elder Scrolls Online," has announced that "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" will be released for next generation consoles, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, on June 9. The company will not be leaving PC gamers out though, because those who are currently playing the title will be able to witness some changes beforehand. 

Earlier this month, Bethesda Softworks was rumored to be rescinding mandatory subscriptions for its fantasy MMORPG title after several leading game retailers started removing physical copies of the game from their shelves and stock. The rumor turned out to be true, not surprisingly, and now with the removal of the mandatory fee, players will be able to access the game provided they pay the "one time only" fee.

According to the report by Games Radar, "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" update will be released for Microsoft Windows on March 17, earlier than next generation consoles. In order to experience every single detail of the game, PC gamers will be required to purchase special yet optional downloadable content. Players will still be receiving the regular content updates at no extra charge should they choose not to purchase the additional content.  

Fans who want to get immersed in the additional content will have the option to purchase ESO Plus memberships. ESO Plus memberships will be available in 30-, 90- and 180-day durations and will offer all future downloadable content to gamers. According to Bethesda, the DLC will comprise up of "game packs with optional adventure content." 

The latest RPG title released by Bethesda Softworks was "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." While the game did suffer from technical issues, it was still able to receive critical and financial success.
