It's official — Rowdy is now part of the Robertson family from "Duck Dynasty."

Korie Robertson welcomed her new son Rowdy by posting a new family photo on her Instagram page (@bosshogswife). "It's official!!" she exclaims. "Today Rowdy officially became a Robertson! So thankful for Godly attorneys and judges that made the day extra special. We told stories of the past year, we laughed, we cried, we hugged, we swore to love Rowdy forever and ever. #Godisgood (missed having @young_and_beardless @marykaterob and @johnreedloflin with us)."

Korie's biological daughter Sadie did the same thing on her Instagram account (@legitsadierob). "Just landed back in Louisiana to take a good ole garage pic with the family to celebrate Rowdy's official adoption day!! Welcome to the family Rowdy Robertson," she writes.

Korie and her husband Willie are already parents to three biological kids — John Luke, Sadie, and Bella, and two adopted children — Will and Rebecca Lo. Rowdy is their sixth child.

During an earlier interview with Entertainment Tonight, Korie shared that they got Rowdy "at the end of the school year" and that the young boy actually attended their son John Luke's wedding to Mary Kate McEacharn. He "walked my grandmother down the aisle," said Korie.

But back then, the Robertsons did not broadcast about their adoption plans because they wanted to give Rowdy the chance to adjust to their family first. "He's been with us since May, but we wanted some privacy and time for him and our family to bond before telling the world," said Korie.

As proud as they are of their new son, the Robertsons decided to keep his adoption on the down low to protect Rowdy's emotional wellbeing. The Christian couple also gushed that Rowdy is "amazing," and they could not be any happier to have him as a part of their family.
