"Dragon Ball Super" episode 60 titled "Protect Kaioshin Gowasu, Destroy Zamasu!" will be a game-changing episode for the heroes as they continue their bid to stop Zamasu and Goku Black.

In this exciting installment, Zamasu will meet his demise at the hands of Beerus. This is according to a leaked synopsis, which is supported by the trailer for episode 59.

The God of Destruction plotted to kill Zamasu, which he will enact upon in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60. As per speculations, his thinking in doing so was to undo everything that led to the Kai-in-training's rise to power.

Beerus killing Zamasu in the present timeline was supposed to stop him from gaining immortality, having Goku Black as an ally, and destroying universes, but the result may be far different from what he imagined.

It looks like nothing will change despite the death of Zamasu in the present. The way time travel works in "Dragon Ball Super" suggests that Zamasu from the future is still alive and well.

As suggested by Attack of the Fanboy, with the concept of multiversity at play, Zamasu might still exist in the future and that his version of the present's death did not actually do anything.

The synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60 indeed suggests that Beerus successfully kills Zamasu. However, his actions were either fruitless or have contributed to the dark future where Future Trunks came from.

Employing the premise of multiversity complicates things and makes it tougher to determine a possible outcome brought about by Zamasu's death.

If alternate dimensions or universes are involved, it is highly likely that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 60 won't be the end of Zamasu's evil reign.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 60 should shed some light on this mystery when it airs on Sunday, Oct. 2, a week after episode 59 airs, where Zamasu attempts to kill his master Gowasu.
