"Resident Evil 6" actually came out back in 2012 but from the looks of it, Capcom has decided for a reboot which will see the popular game being made available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4) soon.

Hence, it becomes a revival of sorts that should be welcome news for people who have been looking for new games for the two aforementioned game consoles. Gematsu was the first to report the sighting of the said game, which was initially launched for personal computer (PC), PS3, and Xbox 360.

This development is the latest in the efforts of Capcom to revive old titles, one of the more popular and fast-selling game titles. Aside from "Resident Evil 6," expected to follow suit are "Resident Evil Zero" as well as a "Resident Evil 2" remake.

While the planned release for "Resident Evil 6" is welcome news, there are some who find it a bit odd. There are some who would prefer to see "Resident "Resident Evil 4" or "Resident Evil 5" getting the HD remaster treatment since they fared better than "Resident Evil 6." Regardless, it would be best to see first what "Resident Evil 6" has to offer on PS4 and Xbox One.

Could it be buying time for "Resident Evil 7"? Well, for now, there is no word on when that installment is coming, with reports a bit sketchy on what the real score is for "Resident Evil 7." Nevertheless, new rumors and, hopefully, updates, will be made available sometime soon.

With that said, it should be interesting what improvements and changes are in store for gamers when it comes to "Resident Evil 6." But the apparent thing to watch out here is the graphics part, hopefully impressive, considering the crazy concepts that Capcom has had when it comes to abominations and monsters in detail.
