If there is one thing Ben Seewald, the husband of 19 Kids and Counting star Jessa Duggar will not tolerate, then it is abortion.

The young reality star is now happily expecting his first child with Jessa, who is due on November 1, which just so happens to be the couple's first year wedding anniversary. And while they feel blessed anticipating the arrival of their baby, not everybody feels the same joy when they find out they are expecting and so they abort.

But Ben is hoping for a culture change in Amierca.

"I have a passion for the rights of the unborn. Abortion is murder, and it is tolerated today in the nation which I live. I will not stand by and do nothing while unborn human beings are daily being brutally sacrificed on the bloody altar of human convenience," he wrote on the Seewald Family Blog.

Even though countless unborn babies have already been killed because of their parents' decisions or other circumstances, Ben still has hope that people will change their views on abortion. 

"My hope and prayer is that I will live to see the day when this great crime against humanity is totally abolished and eradicated from the face of the earth," he said.

Ben and Jessa are both champions for babies and children, and the couple have expressed their desire to adopt lots of kids in the future.

"We hope to adopt a lot of kids," Jessa told PEOPLE. "If God blesses us with biological kids of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt."

Ben added that he always strives to give God his best in every area of his life. "I believe that Jesus purchased my salvation with his blood, and by God's grace and mercy, I am now a Christian soldier fighting under Christ's banner. I want to follow where Christ leads me," he said.
