Xbox Games with Gold December 2015: List of predicted free games

 Xbox, Microsoft

Xbox Games with Gold, Microsoft's subscription plan that gives members free games every month, offered several big titles this November such as "Dungeons Siege III" and "Knight Squad." No official list for December has yet been released but a report from Product-Reviews does point out that a plethora of AAA titles may be offered.

This will partly be due to Microsoft's new backwards compatibility update on the Xbox One, which will allow the newer console to play select Xbox 360 titles. One factor that may affect which titles are going to be offered is whether or not the franchises are available on both platforms.

As stated in a previous report, "Assassins Creed II" is one of the candidates that may be offered next month and fans point out that there is a high possibility for this given the current success of "Assassins Creed: Syndicate" on the Xbox One and other platforms such as the PS4 and PC.

Other titles that may be offered include "Viva Piñata," "Borderlands" and "Just Cause 2."

Because of the new backwards compatibility feature, Xbox One gamers will be able to download nearly twice as many games as they normally could. Some fans point out that this might not be fair to owners of older consoles but it is an incentive for them to move up to the Xbox One.

According to Product-Reviews, fans have felt that PS Plus subscibers were getting the better deals, which may have led to some people switching from the Xbox One to the PS4. But now with backwards compatibility and more AAA titles being offered, it is likely that Xbox Games with Gold is improving to better cater to its fanbase.

No official list from Xbox and Microsoft has yet been released although the report does point out that the official list of Xbox Games with Gold will be posted on Dec. 1.
