WWE news: Why is the WWE only selling John Cena merchandise to youth?

Among the fans of the WWE are the youth and one would most certainly think that many of them will most likely want to get a shirt, cap or perhaps armbands which are most of the stuff John Cena wears each time he springs into action.

But what about the other wrestlers?

Apparently there are some fans who are wondering why other WWE stars such as Randy Orton don't have youth-sized shirts available. And Orton reacted to the fan question which in a way supports the call.

John Cena is an obvious fan favorite, especially with the kids. But that doesn't mean that other wrestlers don't have a following. Aside from Orton, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar or even Daniel Bryan have their share of followers, a mix of adult and yuppies who will surely be interested in getting a shirt or any WWE paraphernalia of their own.

Apparently, Cena-themed merchandise is the top buy in the WWE but many kids are surely looking up to other wrestlers, both heel and heroes. And among the ones who are leading the pack include Randy Orton, the Viper whose reaction may be taken into consideration by the WWE as far as WWE merchandise sales are concerned.

There was one wrestler before who toppled John Cena merchandise sales, and that was CM Punk. Punk is of course no longer in the WWE (now with the UFC) so as far as revenue and sales are concerned, the WWE may want to explore that option.

Select merchandise doesn't have to be in big numbers. It is similar to the usual business brouhaha where stocks that can sell high would be good for the WWE. Besides the WWE is not just about John Cena (no offense) so maybe the WWE could broaden its perspective when it comes to merchandising and added revenue.
