"Incredibles 2" is one of the most anticipated animated films slated to be released in 2019. Official details of the sequel to the 2004 Pixar hit have been kept under wraps, but that won't stop speculations from popping up.

So far, what's confirmed about the sequel is that Samuel L. Jackson believes his character Frozone will be back. Speaking to Digital Spy in 2014, the actor revealed that director Brad Bird said Frozone will always be "part of what's going on."

The actor also went on to say that the family of superheroes can be the Incredibles even without Frozone, but he thinks "Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there."

In his interview, Jackson also revealed that he's eager to know what happens to the youngest member of the Parr family, Jack-Jack. According to a spoilers page, Jack-Jack, who will be six years old in the movie, will be facing some challenges when it comes to controlling his powers.

Movie News Guide also speculated that "The Incredibles 2" may reintroduce the previous villain, Syndrome, and he is said to be Jack-Jack's mentor who will influence the little superhero to cross over to the dark side.

But the spoilers page indicated that there is another villain whose identity remains to be seen, and he or she will take Jack-Jack as an apprentice. The six-year-old superhero's first task is to eliminate The Incredibles. Not quite a nice image for a little boy, but Disney and Pixar have yet to confirm these plot theories.

Meanwhile, IMDB reported that Disney CEO Bob Iger said that there were old ideas from the original movie that wasn't used and would most likely be applied in the sequel. In addition, Spencer Fox, who voiced Dash, won't be returning to the sequel as his deepened voice will no longer fit the speedy youngster.

"The Incredibles 2" is expected to be released in theaters on June 21, 2019.
