"The Incredibles 2" won't be out in three and a half years but the rumor mill is already whipping up plot details about the highly-anticipated sequel this early. Rumor has it that Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl are leaving the crime-fighting duties to the kids.

It is being said that the movie will be set five years after the events in the first film so that the young superheroes will be much older when they go full-time in taking down bad guys. Jack-Jack, who was just a baby in the 2005 blockbuster film, will be a big kid by then.

Although the heads of the family will no longer be in the bad guy beat-up business, the super-powered brood won't be the only ones giving villains a run for their money. Edna Mode, the manager of the superhero family, will allegedly meet her true superhero calling in "The Incredibles 2."

Rumor has it that the woman responsible for the family of five's tech and super-suits will be helping out in sweeping the streets off criminals by officially taking on superhero responsibilities as well. It wouldn't be difficult for her too with her immeasurable tech know-how.

Meanwhile, some reports claim that "The Incredibles 2" will center on Jack-Jack, who will allegedly be struggling to accept the fact that he is no ordinary kid. The original villain Syndrome will see the youngster being unable to come to terms about having powers as an opportunity for revenge.

Notably, Syndrome was defeated by the family by the end of the first film. It was Jack-Jack who actually made the finishing move. While it looks like Syndrome is already dead, it wouldn't be a surprise if he was able to return hell-bent with vengeance.

"The Incredibles 2"won't be out until June 21, 2019. Majority of the voice actors from the first film are expected to be back.
