The employees from the Target branch in Raleigh, North Carolina brought a whole new meaning to the term customer service when they helped a teen pick out a tie and practise his speech as he prepared for a job interview.

Loyal customer Audrey Marks heard the Target employees talking to a young man and she was so touched by their kindness that she shared the story to Fox Philly.

"I hear you prepping him with this wonderful, warm, calm advice about interview skills and handshakes and then I finally figured it out. At first I thought, 'well maybe he must be a neighbour or like a very close friend because you were just so sweet with him. He goes to leave and all these Target employees are screaming 'Bye! Good luck! Tell us how it went," Marks said.

The young man, Yasir Moore, was on his way for a job interview at a nearby Chick-fil-A. He bought a tie from Target, and since the store did not carry clip-ons, Target employee Dennis Roberts taught him how to fix the tie and prepped him for the interview.

"We were just here to help a young man get a job and forward his future," he said.

Three Target employees even went to the restaurant afterwards and offered to be Moore's job references.

Moore went back to the Target store days after the interview, and gave big hugs to the Target employees who went the extra mile to help him. He narrated how he managed to confidently sit through the job interview because of their step-by-step instructions.

"It's one of the best things that ever happened to me," Moore said. "It's a good story because usually in the world today you don't see a lot of good things that happen."

His mother, Najirah Parrish, is also moved by the kind gesture. "They could have just sold my son a tie, but they took the time, helped him tie the tie and talked to him. They treated my son with dignity, respect," she said.

Moore went back for a second interview with Chick-fil-A and hopes to hear from the company again soon.
