The much-awaited "Stranger Things" drops another bomb before the series returns for season 2 — a short but very telling scene from one of its upcoming episodes.

The season 1 finale showed the Hawkins Middle School's version of the Losers Club in a big battle with the Demogorgon. This ended with Eleven (Millie Brown) being trapped in the Upside Down. The clip that launched at the MCM Comic Con in London shows how Eleven escaped this parallel universe.

Still wearing her iconic pink dress and blue jacket from the first season, Eleven found a gateway that links the Upside Down to the real world. With her psychokinetic powers, she widens the portal and steps back out to 1983 Hawkins, Indiana.

While that was a very significant teaser, it doesn't say how soon it will happen, particularly whether Eleven is coming back to the real world as early as episode 1.

Previous trailers of the science fiction mystery series showed, however, that Eleven is not reuniting with her gang until later on in the second season.

Season 1 revolved around the search for Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), who was kidnapped by the Demogorgon into the Upside Down along with a few other Hawkins residents. He was finally able to escape in the finale with the help of his friends Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) and of course Eleven.

But his narrow escape left him with a lot of scars. Earlier season 2 trailers show how Will's nightmares will continue to haunt him and his small town. They will have to battle a new massive interdimensional force, and it looks like guns will not be enough to stop it.

"Stranger Things" season 2 becomes available for streaming starting Friday, Oct. 27, just in time to make this year's Halloween spookier for the popular series' many fans.
