After all the speculations going around about the plot of "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens," director J.J. Abrams confirmed that some of them are true.

In an interview conducted by BBC during the recent Irish Oscar Wild Awards held in Los Angeles, Abrams confirmed that some fan-made theories about the film's plot are actually accurate.

"There are a ton of rumours — some true, some false," the director said. "But I'm grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie. I know what it feels like, as an enormous Star Wars fan myself."

The director also stated that he and the rest of the film production staff are careful in preserving the secrecy of the story for the audience, but bits of it still manage to get leaked to the public. However, Abrams did not elaborate further which among all the rumors are accurate and which are just fallacies.

Some of the most prominent rumors include the death of Han Solo (Harrison Ford). In an article posted by Making Star Wars, Han Solo will allegedly be killed by Kylo Renn (believed to be played by Adam Driver) while they are on the walls of The Evil Castle. According to the said rumor, Kylo kills Han Solo in front of Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), and BB-8.

However, Movie Pilot refuted this rumor, saying that it would be impossible for Walt Disney Pictures to ask Harrison Ford to return, only to kill him this early in the series.

Other rumors that could possibly be true include Finn and Rey's close relationship in the film, the introduction of the offspring of a major "Star Wars" character, and the return of Darth Vader in the series.

Movie viewers have to wait until Dec. 18 to find out if any of the said spoilers are true.
