'Star Wars Episode 7' plot spoilers: 'The Force' to be with you sooner?

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is the top most anticipated movie in 2015.

The greatest sci-fi adventure returns to the movie screens with its seventh installment, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." JJ Abrams who helmed the movie has been reported to be putting pressure on Disney Studios to pull back the movie for a summer release instead of planning for a Christmas release. Abrams seems to be justified in his plea as reports of leaked pictures and plot lines threaten to spoil the experience for fans of the Star Wars franchise when it hits theaters.

Through the latest installment, JJ Abrams promises that the movie will have something for both old and new fans of the longest running sci-fi franchise of all time. Characters from the old Star Wars like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Hans Solo all make their appearances in the film. The adorable R2-D2 and C-3PO are also reported to be present in "The Force Awakens."

In the "Force Awakens," Luke Skywalker is revealed to be disturbed and is haunted by violent images and voices in his head that are based around events that occurred in the sixth installment released a few years ago. He is also troubled by his responsibility of guarding an undisclosed Sith tomb. The tomb will undoubtedly have a pivotal role to play in the unfolding of the movie plot.

Hans Solo and Princess Leia now have a child and are happily married. Leia is no longer a princess and now leads the war against the Empire as Queen of the Republic. Hans Solo has been promoted as commander with his trusted partner, Chewbacca who now for some reason is revealed to have a bionic hand.

Another character that has been given more importance is Luke Skywalker's son, who has been portrayed by Domhnall Gleeson. As per recently released spoilers, Luke's son will have some kind of double agent propaganda to run, where he is required to indulge in some required "acts of evil" in a bid to uphold the "greater good."

Unless Disney decides to release the Star Wars movie earlier in the summer, "The Force Awakens" is scheduled for a release on Dec 18 this year.
