"Sister Wives" season 8 is about to premiere this month, but even with the show moving forward, rumors continue to persist that trouble is brewing for Kody Brown and his wives. The latest rumors suggest that Robyn, his fourth and latest wife, is determined to divorce him before the season is over.

Speaking to Life and Style magazine (via IBTimes), family friend Kendra Pollard stated that Robyn never wanted to be in a polygamous relationship and that she is asking Kody to get rid of his other wives. Because Kody is not pushing forward with splitting with his spiritual wives, she is threatening to leave him soon.

It is stated that Robyn is also angry at Kody because of his remarks after she gave birth to their daughter. After she gave birth, Kody allegedly told her she wasn't as attractive anymore.

Kendra continues to explain that Robyn is already talking to her lawyers and that she aims to leave Kody the moment she can be financially secure. If she does indeed leave, Kody will have to consider ending the show or immediately looking for a new wife. Rumors have surfaced that he is on the hunt for two new, younger wives.

However, the show also faces cancellation if Robyn leaves and if she can convince the other wives to go with her. According to the report, she is negotiating for a spin-off show and has been blunt in telling the producers that they can follow her wherever she goes.

Fans of the series will also point out that the wives are the real reason why the show is popular and not because of Kody Brown. This indicates that a spin-off show based around the wives may succeed, even if Kody is out of the picture. The network has yet to confirm if a spin-off will push through should Robyn divorce Kody.

"Sister Wives" is slated to premiere on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.

Cultivating the fruits of the Spirit: gentleness that reflects God’s strength

To be gentle is often equated with being passive, fragile, or easily overlooked - a liability rather than a virtue. But the Kingdom of God operates by an entirely different framework.
