Taiwan Churches United in Christ Despite of the Changing Political Climate
It was confirmed that the National Morning Prayer Meeting would be held on June 12 in Taipei at International Convention Center (TICC).

The first organizing committee meeting will be hosted by Taipei Bread of Life Main Minister Chou-Shen Cho, representatives of the Assembly of Presbyterian Churches, Anglican Churches, Taiwan Holy Church, CCEA, the Baptist Church Association, Taipei Churches Association, Overseas Radio and Television, CBMC (Connecting Business Men to Christ) etc will join the first meeting.

The Taiwan President Election will be held on March 20, there may be great change of political aspect. But the organizing committee insisted that no matter which is the presidential result, church and evangelism would be the main theme of the Morning Prayer meeting. And the attitude of this prayer meeting would be neutral as usual.

They will invite the President, retired Presidents and other parties?presidents, but there is no deviated party. The main theme of the prayer meeting would be “Churches? and they will arrange the contents in the form of gospel, to let the rulers know Christians are praying for them and hoping that they can know God.

About the unification of all churches, the participants expressed that between dominations or Christians, they may hold different political standpoint, still they can love each other and unite as one body of Christ.

Nowadays Taiwan Christianity has become more mature in political discussion, each churches can have a wide heart for discussion, which is a good phenomenon. All churches are welcomed to participate in the prayer meeting.

After the presidential election on March 20, the organizing committee will send invitation, apart from the current two speakers who will give sermons; they will also invite academic sector and enterprise sector to give testimonies.
