The fresh episode from "Prison Break" revival may still be a few months away before going on air, but actor Wentworth Miller already dropped hints that there could be more installment from the series in the future.

In an interview with Digital Spy during the 2016 Attitude Awards, the British actor revealed that there is a chance to see "Prison Break" return after the nine-episode mini-series revival airs in spring 2017. "Depending on how it's received, and who's available, there could be another conversation about another bite of the apple. We'll see," the actor stated.

Wentworth will return with some of the show's original cast eight years after FOX aired the final episode of season 4. He will reprise his role as Michael Scofield in the upcoming mini-series, while his co-star, Dominic Purcell, will also return to portray the role of Michael's brother Lincoln Burrows.

When asked about the plot for the upcoming "Prison Break" revival, the actor revealed that the story will take place seven years after the events of season 4. He says that it will still come with some of the things that the fans came to love during its original run.

"And it will also be quite different as the characters have changed, so my character in particular is no longer just a hero - he's a few other things as well. I think the fans will get a kick out of it," the actor also said.

The plot for the upcoming season will take place in Yemen after Lincoln found out that his brother Michael is still alive and imprisoned due to being framed by an international terrorist group called ISA. Lincoln and his friends must find a way to rescue Michael by staging another prison break.

Other returning characters include Sarah Wayne Callies as Michael's wife Sara Tancredi, Amaury Nolasco as Fernando Sucre, Robert Knepper as T-Bag, Rockmond Dunbar as "C-Note" and Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman.
