Premier.tv Wins 'Most Innovative Webcast' Award

A Christian IPTV Channel has won a prestigious award just six months after it's launch. The Christian Broadcasting Council presented Premier.tv with the gold award for the most innovative Christian webcast at a ceremony in Essex last week.

Premier's TV Programme Controller, Kristie Winsten commented, "We've received a great deal of support during our first six months from both our contributors and contemporaries, with their help and a lot of hard work Premier has created an amazing resource for Christians across the world."

The IPTV station has recently received acclaim for securing a UK exclusive interview with Nooma creator and spiritual thinker, Rob Bell and the first British interview with Catherine Hardwicke, Director of The Nativity Story.

Both interviews were filmed and produced in-house at Premier's purpose built TV studio in London and added to the 500 programmes available to view on Premier.tv at all times.

When asked what factors have contributed to Premier.tv's success, Winsten replied, "Premier.tv have a great mix of innovative exclusives, faith centred documentaries and strong teaching from world renowned Christian leaders. With this mix of programming, we're able to reach a wide range of people with whom we can share the message of the gospel."
