Major details are expected to be revealed as the much-awaited release of "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" inches closer. In fact, The Pokemon Company already confirmed that a huge announcement is awaiting fans next week.

As reported by Comic Book, The Pokemon Company preempted the "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" watchers to mark the second of November on their calendars as they are about to reveal the biggest information yet about the game. There were no clues given regarding the contents of their announcement next week, although Game Freak director Shigeru Ohmori teased that fans should not miss the huge game reveal.

For now, fans can only speculate about the major announcement coming on Nov. 2, although there are long-running rumors that "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" will be introducing more Alolan transformations of existing Pokemon. Another possible surprise for the fans is that they will be given a chance to capture Legendary Pokemon that hail outside the "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" universe. With this, another rumor spawned that the upcoming game will also cover other regions aside from the Alolan hometown.

It was reported that "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" will be an "alternate re-telling" of 2016's "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon." In spite of the two games covering the same region and storyline, the latest one is expected to introduce a whole new different narrative of the Alolan region, plus other exciting secrets such as the origin of the Ultra Beasts.

Meanwhile, a new trailer for "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" has recently been released, which is mysteriously titled as "Strange Evil." The title sums up the darkness that the players should expect in the upcoming game, especially the new dark creatures that they will encounter.

The trailer shows some familiar Pokemon, but the highlight is given to Necrozma and the Ultra Beasts. Based on the teaser video, Necrozma is a monster known to have the ability to steal light from the sky. According to Siliconera, Necrozma is also capable to combine with either Solgaleo or Lunala, depending on the "Pokemon Ultra" version that the player owns.

"Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" will be the last titles from the popular "Pokemon" game franchise to be released in Nintendo 3DS. The games will arrive on Nov. 17.
