"Orange Is the New Black" is a top show on Netflix and one of the most awaited series in 2017. It is speculated that Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) will go down or could possibly die in the fifth season of the show. Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson (Danielle Brooks) is said to avenge Poussey Washington's (Samira Wiley) death.

It is now speculated that more chaos is bound to happen inside the Litchfield Penitentiary on the fifth season of the web series. This is the chain reaction to Poussey's death, and fans are bracing themselves for more deaths. It is circulating that Piper will be involved in an altercation and will suffer the magnitude of her previous acts and may possibly die. Rumor has it that it might involve her ex-lover, Alex (Laura Prepon), or her greatest enemy inside the prison, Stella (Ruby Rose).

Daya (Dascha Polanco) might suffer the consequence as well, brought about when she pointed a gun at McCullough (Emily Tarver) and Humps (Michael Torpey) during the season 4 finale. However, it remains to be seen if she pulled the trigger. This is another event that needs to be addressed when the show returns next year, Parent Herald added.

Friendship also flourished between Taystee and Poussey inside the Litchfield prison walls. Taystee is now speculated to avenge her friend's death, and she might also get even with CO Baxter Bay (Alan Aisenberg) when the prison-drama comes back. Additionally, it will also be the first time that fans will not see Poussey since the show debuted in 2013.

Meanwhile, series fans are also expecting that the upcoming season will feature more of Yoga Jones (Constance Shulman) and her roommate, Judy King (Blair Brown). King was also about to leave the prison when the riot started. Fans are now wondering if she is able to get out now so as not get involved in Poussey's death scandal?

"Orange Is the New Black" season 5 does not have a premiere date set at the moment, but it is expected to come out in mid-2017.
