"Once Upon A Time" is returning to the magical town of Storybrooke before it closes the curtain for good and with it will be the comeback of some original characters as well.

Showrunner Eddy Kitsis have told the press following the screening of "Once Upon a Time Season 7's" midseason premiere episode that it would depress him not to return to the town where it all started, so they will definitely feature Storybrooke again. Per Variety, he also said that they are hoping to see familiar faces in the finale.

Kitsis did not drop names, only saying there is an "open invitation" for previous cast members to come back. He did mention though that some returns are already being planned and one of them is for Jared Gilmore, who played the young Henry for six years. Described by fellow showrunner Adam Horowitz as the "heart and soul of the show," the young Henry will be back in Episode 20 titled "Is This Henry Mills."

"Episode 20 is a Regina-Henry flashback, but Henry is played by Jared [Gilmore]," Kitsis said. "He was 10 years old when he started [the show]. He grew up on the show. We're really excited to have him back."

Gilmore left the series after season 6 alongside fellow original cast members Jennifer Morrison (Henry's mother Emma Swan), Emilie de Ravin (Belle), Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), and Josh Dallas (Prince Charming). He returned for an episode at the start of the rebooted seventh run, which saw his character age into adulthood and moving to a new city under a new curse.

Only Parilla, Robert Carlyle (Mr. Gold) and Colin O'Donoghue (Captain Hook) re-signed their contracts for the final season. Rebecca Mader, who has been on the series since its third season, also returned as Regina's Wicked Witch sister Zelena.

"Once Upon a Time" season 7 returns on Friday, March 2 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
