After revealing its new set of Google Nexus 2015 phones, the next thing that people want to know is when the devices will start shipping.

Well, the answer to that is now partially known, thanks to listing up over at the Google Play store.

According to the listing, the Google Nexus 5X will officially start shipments this coming Oct. 22, although the announcement covers only the black and white versions of the upcoming device.

For interested buyers, this should be welcome news since an official date has now been set. Before the announcement, it was originally pegged as "shipping in the coming weeks."

For those who are, however, planning to get the Frost (mint green) color variant, you may have to wait a bit since there is no official word on when that version will come out.

The Nexus 5X is being offered at $379 for the 16 GB version while the 32 GB version comes to about $429. For those who made pre-orders, both phones will include $50 credit that may be used on Google Play.

Sadly, the latest update doesn't include one for the folks who are planning to get the Google Nexus 6P. Right now the shipping date remains at three to four weeks which could indicate that it may come out sometime in November.

Both the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are expected to come with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed along with their respective features and improvements.

The Nexus 5X will be highlighted by a polycarbonate casing and a 5.2-inch Full HD display among others, while the Nexus 6P will offer an aluminum body with a larger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display.

The Nexus 5X should be ideal for the folks who want a small and handy phone, while the Nexus 6P should gain interest from folks who are into the phablet variant niche.
