'Jurassic World': New spoilers reveal Dr. Ian Malcolm's book

Dr. Ian Malcolm, the Chaos Theory expert who blew people away in the original "Jurassic Park" movies, will not be making an appearance in "Jurassic World," the new-generation reboot of the franchise. However, a recent tweet shared on the official "Jurassic World" Twitter account may have dropped some hints about what the mathematician is up to.

As a way to celebrate Easter Sunday, folks behind the upcoming movie shared a photo that features a dinosaur egg with a QR code. When scanned, this code shows an image of a book written by Dr. Malcolm titled "God Creates Dinosaurs." This may or may not mean that the expert would be showing up in "Jurassic World," although the teaser sure had fans hoping that he would.

Dr. Ian Malcolm was played by Jeff Goldblum in "Jurassic Park" and "The Lost World." As far as cast listings go, the name of the "Independence Day" actor is absent from the "Jurassic World" roster. Nevertheless, it would be more interesting to see the new film with Dr. Malcolm in it, telling tales about his famed theory.

There is still no word as to Dr. Malcolm's appearance or Goldblum's inclusion in the film. Director Colin Trevorrow or anyone in the production team has not said a word about the exciting possibility. On that juncture, it looks like fans will have to wait for "Jurassic World" to find out the answer, or at least wait for the cast and crew to drop another hint before the film hits theaters.

"Jurassic World" is set 22 years after the events that happened in "Jurassic Park." A new theme park is put up and scientists have been working hard on creating hybrid dinosaurs to add as attractions to the place. However, their creations go on a rampage and it is up to site staff member Owen Grady to save the day.

"Jurassic World" stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Vincent D'Onofrio, BD Wong and Judy Greer. The film will premiere on June 12.
