Mark the date, Mortal Kombat fans! The game will be out sooner than expected.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment recently revealed that "Mortal Kombat X" will be out on April 14, 2015 for multiple platforms, namely Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, and PC.

Some game watchers believe that the April release date is earlier than what they had expected.

There are also reports saying that a bonus access will be given to gamers who will pre-order the 10th installment of the Mortal Kombat series. This will be the four-armed fighter named Goro, who was initially introduced in the first Mortal Kombat game.

"Mortal Kombat X" is reportedly set 25 years after Mortal Kombat 9's culmination. It will also introduce a number of new features, such as the player's capability to pick the fighting style of the character that they choose to play with. The game, which was previewed last July and described as "more-violent-than-usual" by Metro, will feature new characters.

Several classic characters like Raiden, Kotal Kahn, Scorpion, Kano, and Sub-Zero are confirmed to appear in the new game. There are other new characters like Cassie, the daughter of Johnny Cahe and Sonya Blade, as well as D'Vorah.

Meanwhile, a YouTube account member named Maximilian Dood posted a Mortal Kombat X game review, and reported that Smoke and Ermac could be possibly added in this installment.

In addition, series creator Ed Boon allegedly teased about what the game will be like once it is released.  He said, as quoted by StackActive, "For those who are familiar with Mortal Kombat, we first had the Fatality, and we added the Babality. We had the Friendship moves, Brutality moves and all of these crazy things over the years. We are going to be reinstating an '-ality' from a previous game into Mortal Kombat X. And I can't wait to be able to talk about it, but at the moment I can't."
