The first blow fell when Miami Heat lost one of their star players, Dwyane Wade, who went over to join the Chicago Bulls. The next tragedy for Heat struck when Chris Bosh had to leave the team owing to his health issues. Bosh, who happens to be an 11-time-All-Star and two-time champion, suffered from recurring blood clots.

ESPN notes that this was the primary reason behind the stellar sportsman remaining on the bench during the last 29 games of the season. Pat Riley, the president of the team, believes it is too early to establish if Bosh will be able to make it back to the team.

In a news conference that discussed Miami Heat's offseason, Riley went on to explain, "I think his doctors and our doctors are constantly, or more so now than ever, communicating. I know what Chris wants. I know he wants to play. And obviously we would be open to that, but this is still a very fluid situation."

As of now, things remain unclear. Hopefully, the coming months will shed some light on Bosh's situation. In the meantime, Heat is weighing its options by working out a restricted travel schedule with a minimal workload for the star.

Sports Rageous notes that the team may undergo some reconstruction. This could begin by a trade involving Goran Dragic. While the team has still not officially announced Dragic's availability, it is likely to happen soon. If such a tradeoff does come to pass, ESPN's Tom Haberstroh writes that Houston Rockets may be looking forward to having him on board. In return, Miami Heat may welcome Donatas Motiejunas from The Rockets.

Motiejunas, who is a restricted free agent, seems like a fair tradeoff. Alternatively, Heat may instead choose to take in Patrick Beverley and Corey Brewer. Other teams that may be open to trading for the Slovenian player include New Orleans Pelicans and Atlanta Hawks.
