The LG G5 is being hyped as one of the can't miss releases in recent memory, and that may just be because of its supposed specs alone.

According to LG G5 Updates, the rumored smartphone will reportedly be a drastically revamped version of its predecessor, although users can expect it to pack more advanced features that should reasonably enable it to compete with the leading devices in the market.

LG is expected to apply upgrades to just about every component of the phone, and the end result should be something worth seeing.

First off, the rumored phone will reportedly feature the Snapdragon Qualcomm 810 chipset with an octa-core 2.9 GHz processor serving to boost its capabilities further than what its predecessor could ever reach.

Beyond that, buyers can also expect the device to be offered along with three different options for internal storage, ranging from 16 to 32 and up to 64 GB. If that is not enough, then users will apparently be able to add even more storage capacity through the addition of a Micro SD card to take it all the way up to 128 GB.

Cameras are always something consumers like to look at when considering their next smartphone purchase, and when it comes to the LG G5, they apparently have something special to look forward to. The new device will reportedly feature a 3D camera to go along with its 20-megapixel capabilities. If the rumors regarding the LG G5's camera turn out to be true, then it would in all likelihood be the first smartphone available in the market to come equipped with such a feature, according to Latinos Post.

The LG G5 is also expected to have other notable features such as a retina eye scanner and wireless charging technology.

The LG G5 is expected to be officially announced around March of next year.
