Fans are starting to get aggravated by the lack of information about "Kingdom Hearts 3," but they might not wait that long to get more details about the highly-anticipated game.

Back in July, "Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tai Yasue told Venture Beat that, with the importance of the game and the hype surrounding it, they want to make sure that they get things right.

He said that even choosing the timing of sharing news and information about Sora's next adventure is something that they take great consideration of.

"We want each announcement to be special. We want to exceed our fans' expectations and we want to do it in a good way. We want to plan things out, the way we announce things. It's not that stressful, at least for me," Yasue said.

It has been more than two months since the "Kingdom Hearts 3" director said these words, but no single information about the game has been revealed, but it might not be that long until new information is released.

As suggested by developer Square Enix in the past, they want their focus on "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue," which will be released January next year so it won't be that long before the company shifts its focus entirely on "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Meanwhile, the studio kept its lips tight with regards to the rumors that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released only to the PlayStation 4, leaving Xbox One users empty-handed.

The reports began after the Xbox One listing for "Kingdom Hearts 3" vanished from the official Japanese Xbox Store. However, it remains in the Microsoft Store and on the Square Enix website, which suggests that the one on the Xbox Store is nothing more than a technical glitch.

Yasue also said in the same Venture Beat interview that the game will indeed come to both platforms despite "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" only coming to the PS4.

This means that the Xbox One players will get to play "Kingdom Hearts 3" but won't get to learn more about the game through the prologue collection. However, it might not be much of a loss.

"Kingdom Hearts 3 is very much — it's a game that will be better if you understand all the other stories. But at the same time, you can enjoy it without following the whole arc," Yasue explained.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is rumored to be released early next year.
