"Jurassic World" found huge success during its release two years ago with leading man Chris Pratt, who played ex-military Owen Grady. As such, many fans will be excited by the new leak from the much-anticipated sequel, "Jurassic World 2."

A short six-second video was shared on Twitter by Colin Trevorrow, writer and director of the original "Jurassic Park." The clip features Pratt apparently petting one of his assumably little pet dinosaurs. Many fans' hearts would melt, as it is nothing short of adorable. The footage also sees the dinosaur purring as Pratt strokes its neck.

Although it does not show much of what the new movie is going to be about, it may hint at some of the underlying themes of the film. According to GamesRadar, the director of the dinosaur sequel, J.A. Bayona said that it would be a darker film that revolves around man and his possessiveness with his creations.

One of the theories that were made on a fansite about the new movie said that it would involve a mass dinosaur extinction. This means that a volcano on Isla Nubar, where Jurassic World is, might erupt, causing this extinction. The theory further suggests that Pratt would travel back to Isla Nubar to save the dinosaurs.

Presumably, one of the conflicts the protagonist might encounter will be his group's rejection of his plan. Following the events of "Jurassic World," where humans were terrorized by the giant reptiles escaping from their confinements, it is understandable that some might want the dinosaurs to die altogether. However, just as fans saw in the first movie, Pratt may just do something to convince these people.

For now, fans may just have to wait for further announcements or maybe even leaks about the movie. "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" is set to be released on June 22, 2018.
