A photo of what has been claimed as the iPad Pro leaked online, further feeding rumors that the purported device will sport a massive screen display. The image also strengthens what has so far been mere speculations — that Apple is working on the device and that the device's release is imminent.

The photo was published by French website Nowehereelse.fr. According to the website, the picture was sourced from a Foxconn employee. If this is true, then the image was taken from the supply chain, which also suggests that Foxconn is working on the tablet hybrid. It was previously reported that Quanta Computer is tasked to do this job, but it seems that Apple is once again relying on its loyal business partner for the production of the device.

Rumors have previously been supported by the claims of Timothy Arcuri, an analyst at Cowen and Company, who included in his note to investors that Apple is working on a massive tablet which aims to ignite the iPad line. The large tablet, dubbed as the iPad Pro, will bring back consumer interest in the iPad, which sales is reported to be declining.

The photo also suggests the imminent release of the iPad Pro, which many predict will be released in the second quarter of 2015. The tablet could be due in spring this year.

Grapevine claimed that the 12-inch tablet can be transformed into a laptop by attaching it to a detachable keyboard. Furthermore, the device is speculated to have an A8X or A9 processor paired with 4GB of RAM,  iOS 8 or iOS 9, 16 GB /64 GB/ 128 GB internal storage variants, 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, and Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

With all of these specs and features, the tablet-laptop hybrid will target the high end market, specifically the business and educational markets. The apps will also center on business and entertainment. However, Apple offered no comment regarding the aforementioned rumors.
