Houston Rockets news: Goran Dragic could be coming home

Goran Dragic has been making waves over in Phoenix but sadly, such may not be enough to consider this a great season for Phoenix. The Suns are currently at the 8th spot over at the Western Conference but their 18-15 card is far from being a safe one to boast about.

Dragic is no doubt one of the main factors over in Phoenix but if an opportunity to improve the lineup comes up, don't be surprised to see him moving elsewhere. Teams such as the Lakers or the Knicks could accommodate the Slovenian player but if given the choice, he may opt for a team that could possibly make it through the NBA playoffs and into the finals.

The team in mention is the Houston Rockets, a team that Dragic played for from 2010 to 2012. The question now is how can Dragic return to Houson.

Apparently the Rockets will have to give up manpower once more although no particular Rocket has been mentioned for now.

Houston seems like a tempting destination for Dragic, a team that is slowly turning into an all-star cast with the addition of Josh Smith. Smith together with James Harden and Dwight Howard leaves a scary though and don't forget about the other players such as Cory Brewer.

As things pan out right now, the point guard position seems to be the only position that could be filled to complete a stellar starting cast. Patrick Beverly has been doing his best at the position but if Dragic does become available, expect the Rockets to make a serious pitch for their former player.

But for now, Dragic would rather focus on his team's predicament rather than the future.

"As an athlete, you need to be focused every game," Dragic said. "That's why, even if there's some trade rumors, I never read those and I never pay attention because that's a really bad thing. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. The only thing I can do is be a good professional and be ready every game and help my teammates."
