Legendary American evangelist Billy Graham had difficulty finishing his new book called "Where I Am: Eternity and Our Life Beyond" because of his health condition. But his son Franklin said he is happy to share that his father feels better now and would now be able to complete the book which answers people's questions about heaven.

"I don't see him doing this again at his age," Franklin admitted to CBN. "I realise that I am grateful that he got through this one, because I encouraged him to do it."

"Where I Am" is Billy's 33rd book. It explores the road to heaven and hell in all the 66 books of the Bible. "People have asked my father, where is heaven? And I think, rightfully so. And he says heaven is where Jesus is and I am going to be with him soon," Franklin said.

Billy actually feels the need to complete the book because Hollywood is distorting what heaven really looks like. He is also disturbed that pop culture is confusing people about heaven and hell, so he wants to help people understand these through the Bible's words.

Within the two years it took for Billy to finish writing his book, he has witnessed the growing number of Christian persecution in the Middle East at the hands of ISIS, and he also saw similar attacks of terror in the United States. Not to mention, Billy is also abreast on the developments following the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage.

"He does watch the news. He does keep up with current events to a point," Franklin shared. "I think after a while he just gets sick of it. He sees how quickly the world is deteriorating morally, the cliff that it seems like our country has fallen off of, the moral cliff. And so that discourages him. But at the same time he realises that God's Word is true. And every word that comes out of the scripture is true."
