Christian parents Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth from "Counting On" are all praises to God after they welcomed their first son, Gideon Martyn, this February.

"We are blessed beyond measure with the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth," the couple told PEOPLE. "Looking at our child for the first time was such an incredible moment! God is so good, and we are so thankful."

The baby boy was born on February 23 at 3:39 p.m., and he measured 22 inches and weighed 10 lbs., 3 oz. Even though the Forsyths just welcomed their first child, they are keen to start building a big family. "We love kids and we're excited to have a family," Austin said. "We're just going to see what the Lord does. We want as many as he thinks we can handle, and we are putting it into His hands."

As for Joy-Anna, she is eager to witness her husband take on the role of father. "I'm most looking forward to watching Austin as a dad and raising children together with him," she said.

The two got married in May last year and enjoyed a romantic honeymoon in Geneva, Switzerland.  Some people even speculated that Joy-Anna got pregnant before they tied the knot, but the baby came on time.

Throughout her pregnancy, Joy-Anna was busy helping Austin renovate their house. She even shared a video tour on Instagram (@austinandjoyforsyth). "Here's a tour of our little house! We have a few projects left, lots of organizing to do and it'll be finished!" Joy-Anna, 20, captioned the video. "Austin has done such an amazing job!"

She took fans to see the front door, the kitchen, living and dining areas. Her older sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, helped provide the accents to the dining room by printing out some wedding photos. She also provided a sneak peek of the nursery, master bedroom, master bathroom, guest bedroom and bathroom. "The baby's room is still getting ready," she explained about the unfinished nursery, which showed a crib, stroller and baby carrier.
