"Doctor Strange" is still a long way from its Nov. 4, 2016 release date but it is within the time frame that a lot of rumors and spoiles should be surfacing online. However, the only concrete details thus far is the involvement of director Scott Derrickson and actor Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular hero.

However, a new report by Fashion Style indicates that Marvel is purposely keeping the development of the new film under wraps, allowing the spotlight to focus primarily on the Sony-Marvel deal for Spider-Man and the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War."

The information comes from an anonymous Reddit user who claims to be a Marvel employee. According to the report, the employee states that Marvel is keeping the spotlight away from the film to dodge spoiler sites like Latino Review. However, the employee justifies his information leak since the crew is getting into production and that the info is likely to come out any time soon.

In the report, it is stated that Baron Mordo will be the primary villain although he has not yet been cast. Chiwetel Ejiofor, popular for his role in "12 Years a Slave," will be portraying a character named Jericho Drumm while Juliet Rylance will play a character named Clea. Rylance worked with Derrickson before in the horror flick "Sinister."

More peculiar is the listing of both Ken Watanabe and Martin Freeman as casting candidates for the Ancient One. In a recent press release just two weeks ago, Marvel announced Freeman would be joining the MCU and would first be seen in "Captain America: Civil War."  Fans have speculated that he would portray a supporting role such as a political or corporate figure but this casting news for "Doctor Strange" indicates that he may have a bigger role in films to come.

As for the film's plot, a report from Venture Capital Post points out that there are only two Infinity Stones left: the Soul Gem and the Time Gem. One is going to be the main focus in "Doctor Strange" while the other may be in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" or "Thor: Ragnarok."

"Doctor Strange" opens in theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
