"Dark Souls III", Bandai Namco's latest installment to this game series, will have its first ever DLC expansion pack released sometime around fall 2016, as well as a second one to be released at a later date.

A lot of players are still anticipating the content these DLCs will bring, but according to a report made by Game Spot last February, it will most likely include new maps, bosses, as well as a plethora of new enemies and weapon and armor sets.

The "Dark Souls III" DLCs were first revealed last February, after listings of a Season Pass appeared in various digital storefronts. The two expansion packs are sold as a $25 bundle, but could possibly be bought individually. However, the price of the individual DLCs is still to be discovered sometime soon. Even looking at the official description of the Season Pass in Steam can confirm the above-mentioned DLC features, and it reads:

"Challenge yourself with new maps, bosses, enemies, and additional weapon and armor sets. Prepare yourself once more and embrace the darkness."

After its release last April, "Dark Souls III" had a generally positive reception from die-hard fans, newcomers and critics alike, despite having some issues in its PC version that were eventually fixed by an update.

"Dark Souls III" is available in PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This game has already surpassed its predecessor, "Dark Souls II" in terms of sales, and most players agree that the main reason of the game's increased popularity is due to its fresh, stylish moves that still hold true to its original combat system.

Also, both veterans and newcomers to the game are drawn to the setting of this latest installment, and the former finds that the challenges and boss fights of "Dark Souls III" are more challenging and well-designed compared to the previous installment.
