Sadie Robertson and her dancing partner Mark Ballas scored a near perfect 37 out of 40 for their Duck Dynasty-inspired turn on Dancing With the Stars this week.

The pair, who are among the favorites to win the show, were dressed up in camouflage-style outfits for the fast-paced samba routine.

And Robertson had a little help from members of the Duck Dynasty clan, with her uncles Jase, Jep and Si, and her dad Willie joining the duo briefly on stage.

Before they took to the dancefloor for their turn in front of the judges, footage aired of Robertson sharing what her faith means to her and her family.

In the segment, the 17-year-old admitted she didn't realise how big Duck Dynasty was going to be.  But she added it the family and the show's success is all down to their Christian faith.

And while the Robertson family have taken some heat for overtly sharing their faith, Robertson suggested that's not going to change.

"My family would not be where we are without our faith.  That's what's carried us this whole way.  You know, we put our faith in God and we like to share that with everybody," she said.

She continued: "We're going to be a family, we're going to love each other - and we're going to do what God says to do."

She also reflected on the controversy over her grandpa Phil's comments on homosexuality that triggered a fierce backlash last December.

Robertson said the family would have stood by him "no matter what he said" because he was family.

"Yea, he's very opinionated, but he's my family and family sticks together," she said.
