"Criminal Minds" season 13 is getting in on the Halloween season with a spooky sixth episode likened by Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) to the old creepy series "The Twilight Zone."

Several women have been reported to be missing in Virginia. The Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) is having a difficult time connecting the dots, as the missing women vary in profession, age and appearance. But they have one thing in common — they mysteriously get abducted around midnight. A scary supernatural? Or something human but more sinister?

The season's sixth episode is titled "The Bunker," which already gives a huge clue about the plot. It could mean that the women are being kept in a bunker somewhere. But since this is "Criminal Minds," it could also be symbolic of a surprising plot twist.

Last week saw the cast of the hit crime drama series reuniting with Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), who returned to help his Baby Girl Garcia get through a case that was particularly close to her heart. Morgan left the BAU back in season 12 to focus more on his family. Moore, on the other hand, moved to another CBS series, "S.W.A.T.," where he plays Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson. The new series premieres on Nov. 2.

"The Bunker" is the first "Criminal Minds" episode directed by Aisha Tyler, who plays Dr. Tara Lewis in the series. Her directorial debut was for the drama-thriller film "Axis," which was funded by Kickstarter. It is about an Irish actor who, on the morning he is set to star in a career-changing blockbuster film, is confronted by his rocky past that threatens his sobriety, loved ones and his own life. It stars Emily Bett Rickards, Jerry Ferrara, Amber Nash, Paula Malcomson, Ted McGinley, Jonathan Sadowski and Jean-Luc Bilodeau.

"Criminal Minds" season 13 airs Wednesdays, 10 p.m. EDT on CBS and CBS Access.
