A new major update for sandbox game "Clash Royale" will tweak and improve the Legendary Arena.

Gamenguide reports that most player feedback touch on improvements on the Legendary Arena for "Clash Royale," and developer Supercell may be addressing these in the upcoming September update. The industry follower notes that the upcoming improvement is still part of the developer's promise to introduce balance changes, as well as feature upgrading, for the game.

Speculations suggest that should Supercell listen to fan feedback, one most noted change for the Legendary Arena is the drop rates for Epic cards. One fan suggested that Epic cards should become a guaranteed drop in crown chests at Level 9. As a guaranteed reward, random Epic cards will serve as motivation for players to achieve and retain legendary status.

In addition to the improvements in the Legendary Arena, Supercell is also expected to tweak the other cards in the player decks. One requested change is a more obtainable drop for Legendary cards. While not as rare as Epic ones, and can be obtained even in the lower levels, Legendary cards' sporadic spawns still frustrate hardcore fans.

Meanwhile, although Supercell has yet to confirm what changes it will bring to the next major update, it is already confirmed that the developer will do something with "Clash Royale" emotes. In an announcement on its official forums, Supercell stated that for the next update, players will be able to silence their opponents. The developer also hinted that new emotes may also be coming out: "Additionally, we've been thinking about some cool ways of making emotes feel collectible and even desirable, which will ideally change some people's perception of them in the future," the announcement continued.

The developer has yet to announce when fans can expect the major update, although it is expected to roll out soon.
