After being severely criticized for the May update, developers of popular mobile game Clash of Clans are hoping to make nice with the fans by going all out in the August update.

It remains to be seen whether Supercell will cater to fans' requests which have developed in the past few months.

Among the items on the fans' wishlist are more achievements, arranged wars and a sleep mode for Clan Castles, Master Herald reported.

It can be recalled that in the May update, it added two levels and the Friendly Challenges mode which did not please the fans.

Players were unhappy over the fact that CoC required them to reach certain levels before allowing them to unlock goodies. The game only gave out the goods upon reaching Level 11.

But it seems like the Finnish company now wants to take their cue from the players themselves, reaching out to hear what they want through hosting a survey on social media.

It was recently reported that the August updates could come purely from ideas and suggestions posted by the fans on the survey.

According to a report by Product Reviews, it is possible that Supercell could feature a crossover with of characters from CoC spinoff game Clash Royale such as the Miner and the Baby Dragon.

It is also rumored that the updates could also feature a multiplayer mode which enable players to invite others to a challenge.

As Supercell has previously released updates on a Tuesday, it is expected that the update will be released sometime towards the end of the month, reported Vine.

The August update is very important for the future of CoC as similarly themed gamed Android and iOS games are slowly but surely eating at its market like Battle Champ which some disillusioned fans have expressed favor for since the May misstep.
