The Apple Watch's debut is just right around the corner, and it is making the news rounds once again because of its impending release.

The first wearable device from the Cupertino-based tech giant is featured on the cover of Self magazine's March edition. The device with white fluoroelastomer band is worn by Victoria's Secret Angel and fashion model Candice Swanepoel.

The teaser posted on Self magazine's official website states, "The Apple Watch is getting a star moment, too, as Candice is the first woman to wear one on a magazine cover in the US. With the device starting at around $349 available next month, it's on our wishlist. (Even our editor-in-chief, Joyce Chang, can't wait to use her Apple Watch — check it out in our March Editor's Letter, available to download below.)"

Aside from the device's physical appearance, Self also posted several significant information about the device such as its accelerometer, GPS and Wi-Fi capabilities, as well as its heart rate sensor.

Although Swanepoel is the first U.S.-based model to wear the device on a photo shoot, this is not the first time that the much-awaited wearable device from Apple Inc. graced the cover of a magazine. In October 2014, Chinese model Liu Wen sported the device on her wrist for that month's edition of Vogue China.

Meanwhile, The USA Today reported Tuesday that a new study claims that the Cupertino tech giant will sell at least 20 million units in its first year alone. According to mobile and technology research group CCS Insight, the Apple Watch will be the top selling wearable device ever made.

If the result of the study turns out to be accurate, it could mean that the initial five million units ordered by Apple Inc. during its release may not be enough for the huge demand for the product.

The Apple Watch is expected to come out this April.
