Newlyweds Ben and Jessa Seewald both come from big families, so it's no wonder that they want to start a huge family of their own. And while they are excited to have their own children, the couple have already decided that they want to adopt.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Ben and Jessa say that "kids are so important" and that is why they want to open their hearts and home for children who do not have families to call their own.

"We hope to adopt a lot of kids," Jessa said. "If God blesses us with biological kids of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt."

According to the Duggar Family Blog, the Seewalds have already researched their adoption options and learned that most agencies require a couple to be married for at least two years before they will be qualified for adoption.

This currently rules them out since Ben and Jessa got married only last November. Still, they remain optimistic that they will have the opportunity to adopt in the future and expand their own family.

Ben is one of seven children of Michael and Guinn Seewald of Hotsprings, Arkansas while Jessa belongs to the 19 Kids and Counting family headed by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

As newlyweds, it's only expected that the couple encounter some roadblocks in their relationship. But Ben and Jessa have so far proved to have a very loving and accepting approach to each other in their marriage.

"We try not to argue," said Ben, when asked how he and his wife deal with disagreements and issues.

"If we have a hard time and we talk about it, you just love each other so much more afterwards," added Jessa. "After a disagreement, I often feel, 'I have never loved you more than I love you now.'"
