Liz (Megan Boone) and Tom (Ryan Eggold) will do everything that they can to rescue their daughter Agnes from the clutches of Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) in episode 4 of "The Blacklist" season 4.

Based on the promo trailer for the episode titled "Gaia," Liz will have to work with Red (James Spader) again so that she can finally reunite with her baby. But it seems like Kirk will do everything to keep Agnes under his custody.

In the previous episode, viewers of the series found out that the reason why Kirk abducted Liz, who he claimed as his daughter, was to help him extend his life since he was suffering from a rare genetic disease.

Red pointed this out to Liz in the episode titled "Miles McGrath." According to Red, Kirk needs someone from his family in order to live. "That's what you are: a collection of cells. This isn't about saving you from me. This is about saving you for him," he told Liz.

Since Liz managed to get away from her supposed father, Kirk has no other choice but to turn to her daughter Agnes to push through with his plans. However, the former FBI profiler will not allow Kirk to succeed, and she and her husband Tom will have to think of a plan to get the baby back into their arms.

The Futon Critic revealed the synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads: "As Red sets Liz and the Task Force on the trail of an eco-terrorist with a mysterious connection to Alexander Kirk, Tom takes matters into his own hands."

Will the rescue operation for Baby Agnes succeed with the help of Red? Also, will Red start trusting Liz again after she tricked him to believe that she died in season 3?

"The Blacklist" season 4 episode 4 airs on Thursday, Oct. 13, on NBC.
