Star Wars Episode 7 plot hints dropped by JJ Abrams on Twitter

Director J.J Williams is teasing Star Wars fans yet again.

In his @bad_robot Twitter account, Williams posted another clue about what moviegoers should expect in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode 7" film.

The August 12 post showed a photo of a robotic droid arm carrying a thank you note signed and handwritten by the director himself using his own personal note card. Written in it was an update about the success of the charitable fund-raising drive called "Force For Change" for UNICEF wherein the fans of the film can have a chance to compete for a walk-on role that will be featured on the new Star Wars film.

CinemaBlend.com reported that the charity drive was conducted from May 21 up to July 18. The participants have to possibility of being picked to be present in the movie's advanced screening, as well as a possible role in the seventh installment of the epic sci-fi franchise. "Each time he's appeared speaking on behalf of his fund-raising effort, he's dropped a small clue or two to some aspect of the film's universe. This time, he didn't just drop a clue, he plunked down an entire hand," the movie website stated.

The 48-year-old director announced that the charity project raised more than $5 million. He was grateful to everyone who participated and generously donated to the cause, and announced that the winner of the contest is DC Barns from Denver, Colorado.

A statement regarding the contest posted through the winner video said:

"The grand-prize winner was D.C. Barns of Denver Colorado, who shared during on a donor video chat that the first time he saw Star Wars when it opened in theaters in 1977, when he was only five. 'I loved it! ... I just couldn't get it out of my head of 35 years.' D.C. was then asked to share his favorite Star Wars moment. As he began to reply, he was suddenly surprised in his Denver office by members of 'Star Wars: Force for Change' team."

Now the fans of the film are speculating about the meaning of the little robotic arm seen on the director's post. Some are saying that it could be a sneak peek into what will be seen from the movie, while others were thinking that it could be a link to the plot rumors reported earlier by Badass Digest.

Star Wars: Episode IV will be released in theaters on December 15, 2015.
