Samsung Galaxy S5

Fans of the Galaxy S line-up, which is considered to be among the most prominent roster of high-end Android smartphones, will be introducing another gadget to add to its series. According to reports, the South Korean tech giant will be unveiling the latest device called Samsung Galaxy S6 next year.

However, fans of the series appeared to have been less welcoming with the Samsung Galaxy S5 during its public launch at this year's Mobile World Congress. This unenthusiastic response may possibly prompt Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. to hold back the release of its upcoming flagship device. The Samsung Galaxy S6 will still debut in 2015, but some believe that the launch will not happen before the first quarter of the year.

In a report from Valuwalk.com, Samsung might have felt the pressure to ensure that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be able to impress its fans and perform better in the market compared with its recently unveiled predecessor. Moreover, Samsung will reportedly aspire to "exceed consumer expectations" with respect to the features and capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S6.

The release of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has caused some eager fans to speculate that the Samsung Galaxy S6 might have the same metallic frame. Hence, the next generation Galaxy S gadget might be released donning the highly sought-after metal casing. This make will definitely make for a sturdier and better looking gadget.

Some sources also point out that the Samsung Galaxy S6 might come out with more powerful processors. The soon-to-be-released device might have either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810. The Snapdragon 808 is a six-core 64-bit processor with support for 2K screens, and the Snapdragon 810 is an octa-core 64-bit chip which can power screens of up to 4K resolution. It also includes an Adreno 430 GPU, which is said to be 30% faster than the Adreno 420, according to Tech Radar.

In addition to these features, Samsung has recently been rumored to be working on 2K and 4K display technologies. If the speculations regarding the Snapdragon 810 processor prove to be correct, then the Samsung Galaxy S6 will have a 3480 x 2160 display. The camera feature of this upcoming gadget still has no definite description. Fans are debating whether the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be equipped with a 16MP or 20MP back camera. Taking off from the supposed errors cited by fans on the features of the Samsung Galaxy S5, the next device might have high-end double stereo speakers, 64-bit processors, and improved battery life.
