The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be arriving in September and not in July as rumors initially suggested. Such was confirmed by president Jong-Kyun Shin who said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will more likely be out in September than July and that it will be in Berlin.

With the release date practically settled, there is some bad news as well.

The upcoming Galaxy Note 5 could still be running on Android Lollipop since the much talked about Android M may not make in time for the scheduled launch. Google is scheduled to release the new mobile OS by October which means that it will be about the same time that the Galaxy Note 5 would be hitting stores. With that said, the Galaxy Note 5 will most likely carry the Android 5.1 OS out of the box.

Nevertheless, Samsung could include an instant update feature with the Galaxy Note 5 so that once the new OS comes out, Galaxy Note 5 users will be able to update to it once released.

So what do consumers have to look forward to? At the moment, the device's interface is said to be in the testing stages using Quad HD and Ultra HD. The processor of the Galaxy Note 5 will be different from its predecessor (Galaxy Note 4) with rumors floating that Samsung will be shifting to the Exynos CPU.

Aside from the display and processor, it is believed that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with a powerful camera though there is no word on the actual specs for it right now. The same holds true for the battery which is reportedly high-powered. And for folks who have probably figured by now, the battery and power storage is a big issue.

Hopefully the battery is as good as rumored but the Android M could be a big help as well once it does become available for the Galaxy Note 5.
